The Algarve’s
Heading South to the Algarve’s for Summer is certainly a popular agenda for Europeans. Avenida Thomas was full and busy providing day and night backdrop scenes for family and singles alike. Daily small vendors line the coastal horizon and quaint outdoor eateries invite you into their doorsteps. The faithful Ocean awakens and soothes you with its constant rhythmic wave crashes.
We were fortunate to book our vacation during the Annual Seafood Festival in Ohlao ( just 45min from Portimao). The Seafood was superbly fresh and after a good meal we listen to a live concert.
I would definitely say Portimao is a place to visit considering that nearby you can travel to Munchique (the highest point in the Algarve’s) and Sagres (the Western most point of Europe). If you love old town architecture and captivating coastal lines – You will love Faro! ~C’est ca! That’s All for Now.
